Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said,

“I have a dream that one day my children will be judged, not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character…”

Let’s instill this in our children today…

Make a poem with the beginning words

“I have a dream…”

Then use the five senses to begin each statement…

“I see…”

“I hear…”

“I taste…”

“I smell…”

“I touch…”

End with

“I have a dream…”

FOCUS ON 1 Peter 2:17~~~

17 Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

We create an acrostic poem, “PEACE,” in a big and colorful design, using words that the students come up with, for example: P – peace, people, peaceful, part of the community E – equal, equality, every, everyone, everybody, each A – all are equal, always be kind C – care for each other, caring, conflict resolution E – every, everyone, everybody, each
